The office productivity machine. Bought to replace the aging 2012 MacBook Pro 15" retina. It resides in the office where it is hooked up to a ThunderBolt 3.0 dock, and an eGPU with the Radeon 5700 XT in it with dual 28" 4K displays.

The ultimate home server. Works as NAS and hosts any and all local services necessary such as Jellyfin and more. Primary NAS drive is a 4 TB SSD connected via USB 3.0, and backup / redundancy is provided by an eight bay USB 3.0 3.5" array with 24 TB of storage in it. Each drive serves a different purpose giving multiple points of redundancy and backup targets.

A heavily upgraded Mac Pro 4,1 that's been flashed to a 5,1 and had its original 2.26 quad CPUs replaced with 3.33 hexa CPUs. Other upgrades include a video card, a USB 3.0 card, and a PCIe -> SATA 3.0 card which the primary boot SSD resides on.
This machine actually replaced a single CPU Mac Pro 5,1 unit. It used to be the daily driver in the office, as well as the home NAS. It's since been retired due to costing exactly one third of my power bill to run it 24/7. It now serves as a test bed for projects like OpenCore Legacy Patcher and other fussing around.
